Former Madison County Fair Queen, Jacqui Lauer, hired as Outdoor Education Coordinator for Procter Center Summer Camp in London, Ohio.
Jacqui Lauer (pictured on far right) of London, Ohio, has been hired as the Outdoor Education Coordinator for Procter Center’s Summer Camp.
Jacqui, who was Madison County’s Fair Queen in 2021, brings her considerable 4-H knowledge to her new role, which will include leading Farm Camp (a daily activity at all summer camp sessions), Fishing, Archery, and Procter’s Conservation Family Camp session in addition to other duties.
Jacqui, who was a summer camp counselor in ’23 and ’24, has been writing and developing curriculum for these programs as part of a writing internship at Procter.
Jacqui, an English major at Marietta College, is looking forward to sharing her love of nature – and especially farm animals – with both her camp-staff colleagues and campers of all ages this summer, “engaging campers in a new way.”
