Hermitages
A Place Away
Procter Hermitages are available for rent in September, October, November, April, and May.
These small, one room spaces are perfect for those who would like to spend some solitary time in prayer – creating, reading, resting, and being restored.
The Hermitages are heated, and air conditioning is available for extreme heat. Ceiling and standing fans are included year-round.
Cost: $50 per night
LODGING:
Each hermitage has the following
- One twin bed
- Desk and chair
- Lamp
- Nightstand
- Chest of Drawers
- Linens
- Wi-Fi Access
BATHROOMS
Hermitage guests use the communal bathrooms in the lower level of the Red Barn, immediately off the Sports Court.
There are two bathrooms with multiple showers, changing stalls, toilets and sinks.

Hermitage guests have access to visit or use the following:
- Fire pit in front of the Red Barn (when not in use)
- Lake Leo
- The Fishing Pond
- Procter Farm
- Procter Market
- Procter Woodlands
- Hammock Hill
- Sports Court
MEALS
We recommend timing your stay to coincide with a group’s stay at Procter so you can purchase meals from our kitchen.
A refrigerator and microwave are available in the Red Barn for Hermitage guests, and you are welcome to bring your own snacks and food items.
Procter Dining Hall has hot tea and pour-over coffee available 24/7 at no charge for guests.
