2023 Day Camp Week Dates:

Week 1 – June 12-16

Week 2 – June 20-23

Week 3 – June 26-30

Week 4 – July 10-14

Week 5 – July 17-21

Week 6 – July 24-28

Week 7 – July 31 – August 4

No Day Camp for Juneteenth, June 19th, nor the entire week of Independence Day (also Counselor Break), July 3rd-7th.

Why Camp? Camp gives kids the chance to be independent in a loving, safe environment with young people who care about them. The screens are turned off and the campers are tuned in. Tuned into each other, God, and the natural surroundings at Procter. They make new friends that can last a lifetime. There is nothing like a camp friend. You wait all year to see them and experience the magic of camp with kindred spirits.

Procter is place where campers can connect to God on their own terms. A place that is safe to ask questions, wonder, doubt and grow in their faith. Lead by their counselors, Camp songs and devotions help to bring their faith to light. Chaplains are on staff to help lead the formation track and celebrate Eucharist.

Come to Procter to have the time of your life! Learn new things, try new things, and come back year after year for that Procter connection.

A day at Procter Day Camp

Arrive early to get a look at the hogs, waking up for their morning mud-pit hangout. Then, collect eggs from the free-range chickens. By mid-day, take a dip in the lake, or cool off in a canoe. Want a more relaxed environment? It’s hard to stay awake in the hammocks, with the warm breeze passing by. Be in community during creative arts time, fishing on the lake, Bible Study, Sing-Song, or yard games! We offer so much to do, the kids will want to keep coming back, week after week. Counselors and staff are here to make the time safe, relaxing and fun.

Day Camp

$150 per week. Limited to 30 spots per week.

For its second year, Day Camp will be offered from June through August for rising 1st through rising 6th grades. Pick any week, or weeks, to spend the days doing crafts, collecting eggs and veggies, swimming, playing sports on our Sports Court, and more! Tons of activities to keep the fun going. Camp runs Monday through Friday, *9:00am to 5:30pm. Check out the Day Camp Handbook below for more information.

*Flexible drop-off times may be arranged. Contact Heather Bangerter, hbangerter@proctercenter.org, today.

Teens, learn more about our Leaders in Training Program!

Monday through Friday

Be greeted by counselors at drop-off, and start the day with a yummy breakfast! We’ll have snack time and lunch time for the hungry campers too!

June 13th to August 5th

Children, grades 1st through 6th, are welcome to join us for one week or every week, June to August.

Choose your activity

During our activities time, campers may choose the activities that they would like to do. Swimming, canoeing, fishing, creative arts, games and more. Many campers love spending time on the farm, caring for animals, planting, and harvesting.

These are just a few things that you can look forward to at Procter Day Camp.
